Support & FAQ
Browsing your closet and isolating garments from photos happen entirely on-device and work offline. An internet connection is required for the AI features that run in the cloud — identifying scanned clothing and generating photorealistic "See It on Me" try-on images — as well as for App Store purchases.
Photograph a piece of clothing — worn, as a flat-lay, on a hanger, or even a store screenshot. Apple's Vision framework isolates each garment from its background on your device. A lightweight cloud AI step then suggests a name, category, and color, and on-device Vision refines the exact color. You review and edit every item before it is saved to your closet.
Set a base photo of yourself, build an outfit from your closet, and tap "See It on Me." Your base photo and the selected garment images are securely sent to our backend (Cloudflare Workers), which renders a photorealistic try-on with the Google Gemini image model and returns it to your device. Images are processed ephemerally and are not permanently stored on our servers — see our Privacy Policy.
Scanning, your digital closet, and outfit building are free, along with a set number of cloud try-on generations each day. PopCloset Premium is an auto-renewable subscription that raises your daily try-on limit and unlocks the higher-fidelity generation engines. You can manage or cancel a subscription anytime in your Apple Account settings; it renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the period.
PopCloset requires an iPhone running iOS 17.0 or newer. On-device garment isolation uses the Apple Neural Engine where available, so recent devices feel fastest, but the cloud try-on rendering runs the same on any supported iPhone.
